Job Summary

Rose Paving LLC is seeking an experienced CDL Truck Driver to join our team in the Charlotte, NC/Lancaster, SC region.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate truck logs and paperwork in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure constant communication with Foremen to receive pickup and delivery instructions and report any safety concerns.
  • Conduct regular inspections of truck equipment and supplies to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain a thorough understanding of vehicle systems, including air brakes.
  • Safely load and unload equipment/materials on various terrains and secure loads properly.
  • Assist with fueling, lubricating, and basic servicing of vehicles.
  • Perform tasks assigned by the shop foreman when not driving, including labor work and assisting ground crews.
Requirements
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License for the State of North Carolina.
  • High School diploma or equivalent and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous commercial driving experience and DOT certification.
  • Pass a drug test and background screen.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
  • Good eyesight and ability to drive up to 8/10 hours daily.
