About the Role

CIOX Health Talent Acquisition is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Health Information Specialist to join our team in Louisville, CO. As a Health Information Specialist, you will play a critical role in processing medical records requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process medical records requests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Meet productivity expectations and adapt to changing priorities
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a strong attention to accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a healthcare environment or medical records processing
  • Previous production/metric-based work experience
  • In-person customer service experience
  • Ability to build relationships with on-site clients and customers
Working Conditions

This is an onsite position in Louisville, CO, and the work environment is generally quiet and comfortable. The ideal candidate will be able to stand and sit frequently throughout an eight-hour period, reach horizontally and vertically for overhead use, and lift 20 lbs.
