GIS Analyst

GEOSPATIAL CONSULTING GROUP INTERNATIONAL LLC is seeking a highly skilled GIS Analyst to support a large U.S. Federal agency GIS program. The successful candidate will be responsible for geospatial data layer creation and maintenance, visualization and analysis support, space utilization data management, and technical documentation.

• Create, validate, manage, and maintain data to support OSI functional areas, including spatial and non-spatial data.
• Provide analysis of existing geospatial architecture, applications, system integrations, hardware, and commercial software products.
• Develop and document recommendations for enhancement.
• Conduct testing of GIS applications and perform QA/QC on data, processes, and workflows.

• US Citizen
• Ability to obtain a Federal Security Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or IT related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in GIS using ArcGIS 10.x Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, and related geospatial software tools

• Knowledge of SDSFIE and DoD IGI&S data standards
• Advanced experience working with spatial, analytical, and cartographic techniques
• Advanced experience creating and manipulating spatial data from a variety of sources
