Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely Transport Passengers

Our Van Drivers are responsible for safely transporting passengers, including Amtrak crew members, to designated locations. This requires a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to following all traffic laws and company policies.

Follow Traffic Laws and Company Policies

Our Van Drivers must follow all traffic laws and company policies, including those related to vehicle maintenance and operational readiness.

Ensure Timely Pickups and Drop-offs

Our Van Drivers are responsible for ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs according to assigned schedules. This requires strong organizational and time management skills.

Maintain Vehicle Cleanliness and Operational Readiness

Our Van Drivers must maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the vehicle at all times. This includes completing daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Provide Excellent Customer Service

Our Van Drivers are responsible for providing excellent customer service to passengers, including assisting with luggage and answering questions.

Accurately Document Trip Information

Our Van Drivers must accurately document trip information, including passenger counts and any issues that may arise during transportation.

Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License

A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Excellent Communication Skills

Excellent communication skills are required for this position, including the ability to interact with passengers and dispatch staff.

Ability to Work Independently

Our Van Drivers must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
