About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Seward Mountain Haven. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring resident safety and comfort
  • Participate in care planning and implementation, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care
Requirements
  • Current Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • Successful completion of Caring Reliably, Culinary Training, ServSafe, and Dining Assistance within four months of hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • Six (6) months experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant or personal care attendant in long term care or hospital (preferred)
