Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions accurately.
  • Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Internet applications.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Willingness to travel to local and regional sites, often requiring overtime.

Educational Background:

  • High School Diploma is mandatory.
  • Military experience in technical fields is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in and complete all assigned training modules.
  • Conduct routine calibrations in our laboratory and at client sites, adhering to established calibration protocols.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, taking appropriate actions to ensure satisfaction.
  • Continuously enhance technical skills and calibration expertise through self-study and internal training initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment through daily upkeep of workspaces.

Physical Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills are essential for interaction with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Ability to remain stationary for approximately 50% of the time while also being mobile within the laboratory and client environments.
  • Comfortable using a computer or calibrating equipment while seated or standing for extended periods.
  • Occasional heavy lifting may be required, with the ability to exert up to 70 lbs. of force.
  • Some onsite work may involve extensive travel and occasional overnight assignments.

Reporting Structure:

Calibration Technicians will report directly to the relevant Metrology Supervisor.
