Apprentice Bakery Decorator

We are seeking a talented and skilled individual to join our team as a Bakery Decorator Apprentice. As an Apprentice Bakery Decorator, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop the art of cake and pastry decorating.

• 
  
• Decorating and Assembling Cakes and Pastries: Assemble, fill, and finish/decorate cakes, tarts, select pastry, and special-order bakery items.
  
• Production and Quality Control: Build, ice, and decorate cakes and other bakery items following standard procedures to meet business demand. Complete production and spoilage records according to standard procedures, adjusting production sheets to maintain sufficient product.
  
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addresses customers' needs in a timely and effective manner, models suggestive selling techniques, answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
  
• Teamwork and Collaboration: Support our Core Values and goals, promote companywide, regional, and store programs and initiatives.
  

• 
  
• Prior Experience: Prior experience within bakery or grocery retail is preferred.
  
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds. In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
