Blast Technician

We are seeking a skilled Blast Technician - Night Shift to join our team at Trinity Industries. As a key member of our coating operations team, you will be responsible for preparing interior and exterior product surfaces for coating operations.

• Operate hand tools or equipment to prepare product surfaces for coating operations.
• Use automated blast systems or hand-held grit blast equipment to remove scale, corrosion, paint, and dirt.
• Follow all safety rules and practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Participate in committees or initiatives to improve processes and procedures.
• Perform minor repairs and train lower-level team members.

• Level 1+ experience in surface preparation and coating operations.
• Ability to follow verbal or simple written instructions and procedures.
