Job Overview

Wind Tech Recruiters is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to oversee the upkeep of a premier rental establishment. The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring resident satisfaction through the maintenance of both the interior and exterior conditions of the property. Key maintenance tasks include the upkeep and repair of HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical systems, plumbing, structural components, and various equipment. Furthermore, the Facilities Maintenance Specialist is expected to provide outstanding customer service while interacting with vendors and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently and courteously address all maintenance requests.
  • Prepare vacant units to meet market-ready standards.
  • Repair and maintain basic electrical circuits, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the community, including monitoring and recording chemical levels in swimming pools.
  • Manage lawns, grounds, landscaping, and parking areas, including snow removal duties.
  • Document and complete preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Provide emergency support to residents outside of regular office hours.
  • Maintain mobility within the work environment.
  • Be available for overtime and participate in an on-call emergency rotation.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
  • 2-3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
  • Type 2 or Universal EPA Certification is preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
