Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist

Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled at the Southern border of the Oklahoma City metro area, providing innovative cardiovascular care.
We are looking for a knowledgeable Registered Technologist to expand our cardiovascular program in our new state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower. The successful candidate will work with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.
Responsibilities- Prepares and maintains equipment for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and excellent patient care.
- Provides patient care and collaborates with cardiologists to ensure high-quality care.
- Serves as a preceptor for new staff and participates in their orientation.
- Maintains a professional working relationship with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technology certification or registration from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required during orientation
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training within 6 months of hire
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
