Nurse Practitioner Interventional Pulmonary Specialist

As a Nurse Practitioner in the Interventional Pulmonary Department at the University of California, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of pulmonary medicine. Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative and compassionate care to patients with complex pulmonary conditions, and we are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care to patients with pulmonary conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of chronic and acute illnesses.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including physical examinations, medical histories, and laboratory results.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as chest imaging and pulmonary function tests.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and procedural interventions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management and self-care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in pulmonary medicine and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
- Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Advanced Practice Nursing.
- Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current and active RN and NP licensure in California.
- Experience working in a pulmonary medicine setting, preferably in an interventional pulmonary department.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
