Position Overview:

Amcrete - Construction Equipment Operator

Summary: We are seeking a dependable equipment operator to become part of our esteemed construction team. Responsibilities encompass conducting routine equipment inspections and maintenance, loading and unloading machinery, and ensuring job sites are maintained in a clean and organized manner while ensuring equipment is safely powered down and stored. You will also monitor the distribution of concrete and complete necessary documentation and reports.

To excel as an equipment operator, you should consistently adhere to health and safety protocols and be capable of following directives from supervisors. Exceptional equipment operators should demonstrate excellent hand and foot coordination and continuously seek ways to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all machinery is maintained and operated in compliance with company health and safety standards.
  • Cleaning, lubricating, and performing regular safety inspections on equipment.
  • Positioning equipment correctly before activation or during loading and unloading processes.
  • Training new team members in the safe operation of machinery.
  • Carrying out additional construction tasks as required.
  • Monitoring the safe distribution of concrete and other materials.
  • Promptly reporting any malfunctions to the Supervisor or Foreman.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Participating in meetings and refresher training to ensure responsible equipment operation.
  • Identifying issues and troubleshooting equipment as necessary.
