Job Summary
Actalent is seeking an experienced Sr. Aerospace Electrical Engineer to join our team in Plainview, NY. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and testing of electrical components, equipment, and systems for aerospace and defense applications.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead Electrical System Design: Lead the design and development of electrical systems, including schematics, bills of materials, printed circuit boards, wiring harness, and assembly drawings.
  • Manage Testing and Verification: Manage the testing and verification of systems, including preparation of verification test procedures, testing, debugging, documenting, and designing prototype hardware.
  • Coordinate with Team Members: Collaborate with team members from various disciplines, including mechanical, thermal, systems, AEH/SW, to ensure successful implementation of projects.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university; or an Electrical Engineering Technology degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Leadership and direction of engineering personnel in the fabrication of test control apparatus and test support equipment.
