Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Administration: Coordinate the timely completion of annual security risk surveys, assessment reports, and other departmental projects to reduce risk and crime.
  • Data Management and Analysis: Compile data, run reports, and evaluate existing security practices, providing recommendations for improvements. Assist with incident trending, analyses, and the development of data collection/management programs.
  • Training: Develop and conduct training materials and sessions on crime prevention, security awareness, and workplace violence prevention. Ensure personnel adhere to established policies and practices.
  • Support Departmental Initiatives: Coordinate multiple projects, ensuring compliance with federal and state security regulations, and build effective relationships with counterparts in the healthcare security industry to benchmark performance and exchange best practices.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years of recent relevant experience in a highly regulated work environment, particularly in healthcare or business-related fields.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to analyze complex situations, and develop programs, processes, and procedures collaboratively. Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint. Capable of utilizing electronic survey tools and managing various departmental applications.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills. Ability to set priorities, respond to changing demands, follow through on tasks, and work collaboratively with minimal supervision.
