About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Acute Inpatient Post Surgical Unit on day shift at Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the nursing care of assigned patients in the Unit to provide quality patient care.
  • Provide professional nursing care, exercising independent judgment in utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Lead by example, working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • American Heart Association BLS Certification.
