Job Overview

Blockhead Beerworks is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dishwasher to join our culinary team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the ins and outs of a fast-paced culinary kitchen and potentially advance to more senior roles.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including washing and sorting dishes, and prepping foods as needed.
  • Set up and maintain dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
  • Ensure clean and dry floors throughout the shift.
  • Properly wash, stack, and store plates, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers.
  • Change water in machines and sinks every two hours, or more often as required by business levels, and use chemical dilutions as set by EcoLab.
  • Maintain trash cans throughout the shift and remove full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain the dry storage area and organization of storage shelves.
  • Assist in food prep and other duties as needed.
Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
