Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting multi-specialty diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to departmental procedures. This role requires strong clinical knowledge, effective communication skills, and the ability to work under the guidance of experienced staff sonographers.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to departmental procedures
  • Work under the guidance of experienced staff sonographers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in diagnostic ultrasound technology and techniques
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiologic/Ultrasound Technology program
  • National certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or equivalent
  • State license by the regulatory agency if applicable
  • Advance certification by accrediting body in specialty, RVT/RCS/RDCS or equivalent for Cardiac/Vascular, required within 18 months of hire if applicable
  • BLS certification required
  • At least 2 years of experience in diagnostic ultrasound
