About the Position

Happier At Home Care LLC is seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide care and support to an individual with dementia. This is a part-time position, working 25 hours per week, and requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing companionship, preparing meals, performing light housekeeping tasks, and accompanying the client on outings.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare meals and snacks for the client.
  2. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  3. Provide companionship and engage in activities with the client.
  4. Accompany the client on walks and outings.
  5. Remind the client to take their medication as needed.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid CNA certification is preferred but not necessary.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.
  • The ability to adhere to health and safety guidelines is crucial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • The ability to lift heavy objects is also required.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $25-$30 per hour, based on experience. We offer competitive pay and benefits for the right candidate.
