Job Details

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a temporary assignment in Baltimore, Maryland.

As a travel Ultrasound Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Your expertise in ultrasound technology will be essential in helping patients receive accurate diagnoses and effective treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes.
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure depending on the unit.
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transport patients as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as a Sonographer preferred.
  • Other certifications may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
