Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Medford, Massachusetts.
This is a full-time position that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic procedures in various sections, including transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and positioning patients.
- Calculate and select proper technical factors, operate equipment, acquire and process images, and properly identify images with patient I.D. and markers.
- Provide radiation protection, assist physicians in administering contrast media, and perform first aid when necessary.
- Assist in Quality Improvement projects, maintain orderliness and cleanliness of assigned areas, and rotate within the department and off-site clinics as required.
- Explain exams to patients, maintaining ethical standards, and attend staff meetings, in-services, and maintain CEU's as required.
- Graduation from an approved formal Program in Radiologic technology.
- Valid Massachusetts license as a Radiologic technologist in the category of Radiography.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or equivalent certification and registration.
