Job Title: Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse

TLC Nursing is seeking a skilled Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals.

About the Job

This is a travel nursing position that requires a strong background in Med Surg Telemetry care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing and planning individualized patient care
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitoring and interpreting patient vital signs and diagnostic tests
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Educating patients and families about their conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
  • Responding to emergency situations and resuscitating patients as needed
Requirements:
  • Current state nursing license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in a Med Surg Telemetry unit
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of healthcare technology and medical equipment
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
