Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight of Quality Assurance activities to support business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary quality assurance resource for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Instruct quality assurance personnel on quality control and analytical procedures.
  • Support concurrent engineering efforts by participating in design development projects representing quality assurance and the customer.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and problem-solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Oversee calibration programs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Interface with suppliers and customers to resolve quality control issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory standards, and technical publications to inform quality control practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as production, quality, or engineering, with 12 years of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Master's degree highly preferred and may substitute for 2 years of experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Basic knowledge of ISO and/or AS9100, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Working knowledge of specific software, such as design, analysis, and ERP systems.
