Position Overview
As a vital member of our team at Whitsons Culinary Group, the Food Service Worker plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities that ensure the smooth operation of our food service environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversees cash transactions and manages the point of sale system.
  • Assists in the preparation and assembly of food items.
  • Serves meals to both students and staff with a focus on quality and presentation.
  • Maintains cleanliness by performing duties such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas and equipment.
  • Prepares beverages, including brewing coffee and managing beverage machines.
  • Delivers food to designated areas, including catering events, as needed.
  • Follows menu guidelines to prepare and serve food items accurately.
  • Receives and organizes incoming supplies for storage.
  • Ensures proper storage of utensils, dishes, and kitchenware.
  • Participates actively in safety initiatives and committees.
  • Attends all required training and in-service programs.
  • Aligns with the mission and objectives of Whitsons Culinary Group.
  • Completes additional tasks as assigned by management.

Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM (subject to change)

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to effectively carry out job responsibilities.
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions due to food preparation and storage.
  • Consistently presents a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Basic skills in reading and writing in English.
  • Must successfully pass a background screening.
