Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Circulator. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our cardiovascular operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Emergency Procedures: Provide timely and effective assistance in emergency situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with Surgical Teams: Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care.
  • Communicate with Patients and Families: Serve as a liaison between the surgical team and patients' families, providing clear and concise information about patient care and progress.
  • Organize Supplies and Equipment: Ensure that all necessary supplies and equipment are available and properly maintained to support patient care.
  • Assess Patients: Conduct thorough assessments of patients before, during, and after surgery to identify potential risks and complications.
  • Maintain a Sterile Operating Room: Ensure that the operating room remains sterile and free from contamination to prevent infection and promote patient safety.
  • Perform Count Procedures: Conduct count procedures to prevent retained foreign objects and ensure that patients receive the correct treatment.
  • Administer Medications: Administer medications as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
  • Involve Patients in Care Planning: Encourage patients and their families to participate in care planning and decision-making, promoting patient-centered care.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Licensure: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice, or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
  • Certifications: Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in CVOR nursing.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • Salary: $47.00 per hour.
  • Shift Differential: $3.50 per hour for night shifts, on-call shifts, and weekend shifts.
  • Sign-On Bonus: Case-by-case basis.
  • Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis.
