Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at PARS Therapy in Malakoff, TX. As a Home Health Therapist, you will work with patients in their homes, providing personalized care and rehabilitation services to help them regain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled home health services to patients who meet the criteria for Medicare home health coverage.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patients' strengths and areas for improvement.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding and compliance with treatment plans.

Requirements:

• Active license in the state of TX required.
• OT Liability insurance in the state of TX required.
• Graduate degree or greater in Occupational Therapy.
• Home Health or Rehab experience preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices.
• A friendly and professional demeanor is required when explaining procedures and treatments.
