FULL-TIME**Graduate of an accredited program
- ARRT Board Certification in Radiation Therapy is preferred. Our organization is a leading provider of superficial radiotherapy (SRT) in the Dermatology sector, emphasizing excellence and patient satisfaction. Administer prescribed radiation doses to designated areas of the body, utilizing radiation therapy apparatus in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Input data into computer systems and adjust controls to operate equipment and manage dosage levels.
- Maintain necessary records, reports, and files, including details on radiation dosages, equipment settings, and patient responses.
- Inspect radiation therapy equipment to confirm proper functionality.
- Monitor and comfort patients during treatment, reporting any unusual reactions to the physician or ceasing equipment operation if unexpected adverse reactions arise.
- Educate, prepare, and reassure patients and their families by addressing inquiries, providing physical support, and reinforcing physicians' guidance regarding treatment reactions and post-treatment care.
- Prepare and assemble equipment, including immobilization, treatment, and protective devices.
- Assist physicians, radiation oncologists, and clinical physicists in preparing the physical and technical components of radiation treatment plans, utilizing information regarding patient conditions and anatomy.
- Mentor and oversee student or junior radiotherapy technologists.
- Provide support to other healthcare professionals during dosimetry procedures and tumor localization.
- Full-time schedule from Monday to Friday with no on-call requirements.
