Job Title: ICU Nurse Travel Assignment

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled ICU nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Job Description & Requirements
  • Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit
  • Discipline: RN
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 12 hours
  • Employment Type: Travel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiates assessment and reassessment based on the patient's presenting problems/needs in accordance with GIRMC procedures.
  • Provides expert level of guidance in patient care for other team members.
  • Coordinates and provides care in conjunction with other members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Facilitates patient's transition to the next level of care.

Equipment Utilized:

  • Ventilators
  • Arterial lines
  • Non-invasive ventilation
  • Hi Flo
  • Airvo

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum 2 years ICU experience

Required Certifications & Licenses:

  • State of Nebraska (or multistate) RN license
  • BLS – AHA/ARC
  • ACLS – AHA/ARC
  • PALS – AHA

Additional Information:

  • 36 hours per week
  • 1:2 ICU nurse to patient ratio
  • Pewter Grey dress code
