Responsibilities:

The Host position is a vital part of our restaurant team, responsible for ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests as they enter the restaurant, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  • Seat guests at tables in a timely manner, adhering to our service standards.
  • Regulate the flow of guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience.
  • Answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, using our standard phone answering procedures.
  • Take accurate phone messages for the manager when necessary.
  • Be cheerful, helpful, and provide excellent customer service at all times.
  • Apply positive suggestive sales approach to guide guests, ensuring they have a memorable dining experience.
  • Assist servers whenever possible, ensuring our guests receive exceptional service.
  • Participate in concept whenever possible, staying up-to-date on our menu offerings and promotions.
  • Maintain spotlessly clean menus and promotional materials, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Follow daily Cleaning Calendar tasks, ensuring our restaurant meets our high standards.
  • Assist with cleaning tables and parking lot, maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Be able to operate POS terminals, accurately processing transactions and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Clear written, verbal, and phone communication skills (in English).
  • Must have the physical abilities to carry out the functions of the job description.
  • Must be able to responsibly handle cash transactions.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
