Position Overview:

The Facility Maintenance and Production Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of our production environment. This position is integral to maintaining the high standards of our facility while supporting various production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in the site's Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), quality assurance, and Performance Excellence initiatives.
  • Maintain the necessary qualifications and skills to perform the Packager role within the Spray Dryer unit, and assist in the granulation unit as a Dryer Operator when required.
  • Conduct daily housekeeping tasks as directed by the supervisor to uphold cleanliness and organization within the facility.
  • Secure the facility after operational hours, ensuring all areas are locked and monitored.
  • Safely load and manage special waste materials, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Operate forklifts and other machinery safely, ensuring compliance with daily inspection protocols.
  • Collaborate with fellow operators and management to achieve team objectives and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall operations.
Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a High School Diploma and demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.

Compensation Structure:

Compensation will be determined based on the position offered, with potential classifications including:
• Facility Maintenance Specialist - $22.13
• Packager - $25.08
• Pre-stage Operator - $26.22
• Mix Operator - $28.27
• Material Handler - $28.52
• Dryer Operator - $28.52

Work Schedule:

Shifts will be assigned based on the available position, with a typical schedule of three days on and three days off, covering both day and night shifts.
