A Day in the Life of a Teller

As a Teller for Granite Credit Union, you will be responsible for providing a variety of paying and receiving functions. This includes processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashiers' checks, money orders, and cash advances. You will balance each day's transactions and verify cash totals.

You will use your customer service skills to ensure members are promptly and professionally served, and you will make sure their information is secure and confidential.

Qualifications for a Teller
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Cash handling experience preferred
  • Good math skills
  • Customer service skills

We are looking for a customer service professional who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage their time well. If you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and can solve issues for clients with professionalism and patience, then you might be perfect for this role.
