Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Designer to join our team at H Mart. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and management of projects from concept to completion. Your expertise in AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite will be essential in creating high-quality design packages and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and managing projects from concept to completion
• Draft conceptual/schematic CAD drawings and detail drawings
• Analyze and monitor all project documents, including contracts, permits, and technical drawings
• Ensure compliance of project documents with relevant codes and regulations and construction standards
• Assist in developing and maintaining a comprehensive project plan and schedule
• Assist in facilitating communication among various teams, vendors, and stakeholders
• Compile and produce design packages, including refrigeration and equipment, with attention to detail
• Collaborate closely with the in-house interior design team and outsourced architect/engineer teams
• Assist in developing prototypes with standardized layouts and construction systems/details
• Maintain records of all project activities, including engineering reports, contracts, correspondence, meeting minutes, and payment reports

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field
• 2-5 years of full-time experience in AEC industries
• Eligibility for legal employment in the US
• Expertise in the use of AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in utilizing project management software and tools, e.g. Procore
• Ability to manage a project schedule and documents from design through construction
• Fluent in English, both in verbal and written form
• Bilingual in English and Korean preferred
