Job Summary

We are seeking an Expeditor to join our team in Reno, NV. As an Expeditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of orders and maintaining accurate records. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive pay rate, benefits, and a wonderful company culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage purchase order follow-up reports and open order reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Expedite orders daily to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and warehouse teams to schedule inbound freight.
  • Gather, collect, record, track, and verify data from multiple sources.
  • Proactively identify issues and work with merchandising, accounts payable, CRMs, and suppliers to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Communicate directly with suppliers and work with merchandiser and/or supplier on hot issues that require immediate response and resolution.
  • Maintain a professional relationship with Ernest Packaging Solutions suppliers.
  • Act as a liaison between merchandisers, customer service, and Sales Reps regarding delivery and supplier performance issues.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to take direction and work well under pressure.
  • Flexible with a strong ability to multitask.
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution skills.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Office.
  • Able to plan and manage multiple projects.
  • Related work experience in packaging and/or distribution is a plus.
