Job SummaryThis is a full-time opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to join our Newborn Nursery team at Geisinger Lewistown Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the Newborn Nursery department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of newborns and their families
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote high-quality patient care
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program
- Current RN licensure and NP certification in pediatrics or neonatology
- Strong clinical skills and experience working with newborns and their families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
