Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our gastroenterology team. As an LPN, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with procedures and care interventions in a professional, efficient, and safe manner.
  • Provide personal assistance, medical attention, and emotional support to patients.
  • Manage patient flow and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Administer medications, including injections and IV therapy, as needed and within scope of licensure.
  • Collect, label, and process specimens accurately.
  • Perform basic patient care and treatments, such as wound dressing and catheterization.
  • Assemble and use medical equipment as needed.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and communicate delays effectively.
Requirements
  • Graduate of LPN school program.
  • Current licensure as LPN in state of New York and/or Connecticut.
  • IV and/or phlebotomy skills preferred.
  • Ability to work under the supervision of a physician or Registered Nurse.
