Position Overview:
Sutter Health is in search of a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Level II. This role is essential in assessing, planning, and executing rehabilitation programs aimed at enhancing patient mobility, alleviating discomfort, boosting strength, and addressing disabling conditions caused by illness or injury.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to establish effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate with patients, their families, and healthcare teams to foster trust and cooperation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies to maintain patient privacy and safety.
- Provide clinical supervision to assistants and aides, and mentor students as needed.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Graduation from an accredited physical therapy program.
Licensure:
- Current PT-Physical Therapist license.
- Consideration for approved license applicants or residents in training.
- BLS certification as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of professional practices and regulatory standards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer skills and relevant technologies.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and knowledge retention.
Work Schedule:
This position requires part-time availability with variable days and includes weekend shifts.
