About the Role

MRG Exams, a leading provider of independent medical examinations, is seeking a part-time Ophthalmologist to conduct comprehensive eye exams for United States Veterans as part of the VA's Specialty Health Assessment (SHA) process.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical health records through a secure web portal and performing in-depth eye exams on each veteran, completing forms via the web portal. This role requires travel across the United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing medical health records to inform comprehensive eye exams.
  • Conducting thorough eye exams on veterans, including Visual Field Testing (VFT).
  • Completing forms accurately within 24 hours post-exam.

This is a PRN opportunity with some monthly availability preferred.

Requirements
  • Hold a current license as an Ophthalmologist.
  • Ability to perform VFT.
  • Meet credentialing requirements set by the VA.
What We Offer
  • Competitive pay rate: $150-$250 per hour (estimated annual salary: $220,000 - $350,000)
