We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Saint Luke's North Hospital. As a Physical Therapist PRN Plus, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process of our patients, providing individualized physical therapy treatment programs to help them achieve optimal recovery.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients after impairment, injury, or disease, and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans.
- Implement and supervise treatment programs, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, functional retraining, and use of modalities.
- Periodically reevaluate patients to determine the effectiveness of interventions and contribute to discharge planning.
- Supervise treatment provided by students, technicians, or physical therapist assistants, and recommend client care interventions to other healthcare team members.
- Delegate and instruct supportive personnel in services to be provided, and perform other duties as requested by the manager.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Missouri Division of Professional Registration licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
This is a PRN position, requiring a minimum of 6 shifts in an 8-week scheduling period. Experience in acute care and IP rehab, as well as OP exposure, is a plus.
