Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at The Salvation Army USA. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily tasks as needed and directed by the Program Secretary, Respite Coordinators, or Divisional Youth Secretaries.
  • Clean, disinfect, and reset all apartments, lodge rooms, lodge kitchen, and dining room, cabins, and other areas as scheduled or needed.
  • Maintain daily cleaning and disinfecting checklists.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
