Position Responsibilities:

Develop individualized care plans with clear, measurable goals tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Collaborate with nursing and program staff to enhance treatment planning and therapeutic interventions.
Guide nursing staff in facilitating activity-based groups.
Participate in treatment team meetings, providing insights into patients' recreational therapy objectives.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

Required Certification
Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or a related field
Licensure or certification in accordance with state regulations
CPR and CPI Certification within the first month of employment
Experience: Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting, particularly with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric populations is preferred.
