Role Summary
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for conducting various imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians. This role involves ensuring the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic and therapeutic setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care for diverse patient populations.
- Understand the principles of growth and development throughout the lifespan and assess patient data relevant to age-specific needs.
- Evaluate patients' and families' ability to learn and incorporate education during imaging procedures.
- Deliver compassionate, holistic care while upholding the rights and dignity of all patients.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited 24-month Radiological Technology Program.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ARRT registration; CT Certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in CT imaging.
