MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Prenuvo, a leading provider of preventative healthcare services. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI scanners to perform high-quality scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Order and manage supplies, clean equipment, and prepare scan rooms
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and report them to the relevant department
- Utilize ancillary tools and equipment, including PACS and software systems
- Image post-processing, including transferring images to PACS and ensuring all post-processing steps are complete
- Leadership and training: provide guidance and support to new technologists in all aspects of the role
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of MRI imaging and patient safety
- Licensed with the appropriate board (ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) or equivalent)
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- Completion of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program or radiologic technology program
- Clinical work experience of at least 2 years
- Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Patient care skills, with the ability to explain complex medical terms and procedures
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies
