Job Summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Edgewater, New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound studies, including vascular and abdominal testing.
  • Operate a range of ultrasound equipment, including color Doppler and plethysmographic devices.
  • Collaborate with vascular surgeons and technologists to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in training and education of students and new technologists.
Requirements
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT, RVS) sonographer with a minimum of 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience.
  • Knowledge of ultrasound physics and instrumentation principles, vascular technological test modifications, anatomy, and physical exam.
  • Proficiency in operation of PC and use of Vascular database LX and Atrium.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

The Ultrasound Technologist will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, rotating to multiple locations based on departmental operational needs.

The hours of the position are 10:00am - 6:30pm with varying days and alternate weekends.

This position may require occasional overtime and weekend work.
