Role Overview

At SCA Health, we're dedicated to simplifying surgical care for all individuals. As a Senior Care Advocate, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering a personalized, empathetic experience as patients navigate the complexities of the healthcare system. This involves answering questions and resolving issues in collaboration with teams across the company, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.

Responsibilities
  • You'll engage with customers telephonically, developing strong relationships with them throughout their healthcare journey.
  • Conducting outbound cold calls to inform members about their benefits and educate them on the advantages of utilizing Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs).
  • Foster a deeper understanding of SMS services and proactive healthcare engagement by encouraging members to schedule appointments.

Requirements
  • A high school diploma or higher education is required.
  • Candidates must have at least 3+ years of customer service/sales experience.
  • Comfort making outbound cold calls to schedule medical appointments is essential.
  • A customer-centric focus with excellent communication skills is necessary.
  • Precise knowledge of care coordination and case management concepts is preferred.
