Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $106,020.00 - $144,570.00, based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.

Job Description

A Day in the Life of a SA/VC:

  • Securely check identification of all visitors and ensure they are properly cleared via JPAS or local databases.
  • Determine visitor needs to enter the building, log them in, issue visitor badges, and notify hosts of arrivals.
  • Verify that visitors do not introduce prohibited items, such as cell phones, pagers, jump drives, PDAs, etc.
  • Perform and/or assist government employees with inspecting bags and hand-carried items.
  • Receive packages from outside agencies (UPS, Fed Ex, etc.) and distribute them according to facility standard operating procedures.
  • Account for assigned personnel and their authorized access badges.
  • Conduct emergency procedures, including bomb threats, active shooter situations, force protection, anti-terrorism, fire evacuations, and other emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate logs, instructions, equipment, and badges at the beginning and end of each scheduled workday.
  • Assist with personnel, information, program security, and entry control functions.
