Job Summary:The Operating Room Nurse will work closely with the surgical team to ensure the smooth execution of surgical procedures. This includes preparing patients for surgery, administering anesthesia, and monitoring patients during and after surgery.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for surgery by administering medications, conducting pre-operative assessments, and positioning patients for surgery.
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during and after surgery.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or complications during surgery.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure the smooth execution of surgical procedures.
- Document patient information and surgical procedures in the medical record.
- BLS certification
- GA or Compact License (RN-OR/CV-OR RN)
- National Certification (ST-OR/CV-OR Tech)
- Strong Ortho experience
