We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our dynamic team at Community Health System. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms, providing exceptional patient care, and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Gather and prepare instruments, equipment, medications, and supplies for each case, adhering to doctors' preference cards.
- Establish and maintain a sterile field and surgical aseptic technique.
- Assist in transporting and preparing patients for surgical procedures, including shaving, positioning, and draping.
- Perform first scrub functions and procedures in the majority of surgical procedures performed at the facility.
- Assist the surgeon and surgical team by passing instruments, sutures, medications, and/or supplies as appropriate.
