Construction Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Specialist to join our team at ACRT, Inc. As a key member of our vegetation management team, you will be responsible for overseeing civil construction work on site, including site preparation, storm water management systems, and coordination of delivery of materials and equipment.

• Oversee civil construction work on site, including site preparation and storm water management systems
• Coordinate delivery of materials and equipment to site
• Ensure safe work practices, quality, and efficiency while meeting target dates
• Monitor and assist with substation and forestry activities associated with new construction and future utility lines
• Ensure compliance with environmental and agricultural requirements prescribed in laws, regulations, and company policies and procedures

• 2-year degree in Construction Management, civil engineering, or closely related field OR 2 years of previous experience in civil engineering work
• Virginia Responsible Land Disturber certification preferred
• Sediment and Erosion certification preferred
• Ability to work independently in rugged terrain and inclement weather
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and follow maps
• Valid driver's license
