Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, maintaining patient safety, and ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans.
  • Position patients, adjust equipment, and secure immobilization devices as needed to ensure accurate and safe imaging.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient comfort and cooperation.
  • Operate radiographic equipment, select and modify technical factors, and optimize image quality with minimal radiation exposure.
  • Maintain patient records, database entry, and exam charges, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, adhering to safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Active IEMA License
  • Minimum experience as a Radiologic Technologist (new grad accepted)
  • Knowledge of general diagnostic radiology and radiographic systems
  • ARRT Registry within one year of employment
