Job Overview:
As an Electrical Systems Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures utilizing both hand tools and power tools.

In this role, you will inspect and troubleshoot malfunctioning tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus, and components. You will connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components, and employ testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes. Additionally, you will conduct tests on batteries in generators and emergency lighting systems.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with job specifications and the current National Electric Code and local regulations.
2. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
3. Respond to repair requests and perform preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and appliances.
4. Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as necessary.

Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures. Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries. Complete safety training and certifications, and ensure proper storage of flammable materials.

Guest Interaction:
Provide exceptional service by welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards. Anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation to guests.

Team Collaboration:
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, actively listening and responding to their concerns. Communicate effectively using clear and professional language, and prepare and review information accurately in various formats.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Demonstrate fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination in manipulating objects of varying sizes and weights.

Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Supervisory Experience:
No supervisory experience required.
Licenses or Certifications:
Valid Driver's License.
