The State of New Mexico is seeking a skilled and dedicated Corrections Industries Program Manager to oversee the operations of the Corrections Industries Program Activities. This position plays a critical role in providing guidance and oversight to offender work crews, ensuring the successful completion of various projects and tasks.


The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for implementing programs, training workers in warehouse management, landscaping, construction, and other skills, and ensuring the maintenance of work schedules, warehouse inventory, and job assignments.


As a key member of the team, the Corrections Industries Program Manager will work closely with various state agencies, community members, and public and private partners to ensure the successful execution of programs and projects. They will also be responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising offender work crews, as well as maintaining accurate records and reports.


This is a safety-sensitive position, and the successful candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment background investigation, a physical and aptitude examination, and a drug test. They must also possess a valid New Mexico Driver's License and be a U.S. citizen.


The estimated annual salary for this position is $63,427, based on an hourly rate of $31.58. The successful candidate will also be eligible for benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
